Hideaway Cove - Luxury Home on canal & golf course! Private Pool/Spa

Such a great house and amazing host! The views were beautiful! Great vacation!!

INCREDIBLE HOME. WE HAVE BEN COMING HERE FOR 3 YEARS, THE HOME IS BEAUTIFUL, THE PICTURES DON'T DO JUSTICE TO THE PROPERTY. WHEN YOU ARIVE THE HOME IS SET UP WITH DRINKS, BREAKFAST FOOD AND ALL THE ESSENTIALS.THE PROPERTY GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL, WITH A POOL, JACUZZI, OUTDOOR SEATING, AND WELL LANDSCAPED. WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO MARATHON FOR 15 YEARS. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST WE HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE TO STAY AT. OUR HOST RUTH IS THE BEST SUPER DUPER DUPER HOST. We travel often and stay in a lot of rentals. But we rarely write reviews. Why? Because most places are just "OK". They meet expectations. And who wants to hear that? But Hideaway Cove? Wow! The home is private and quiet in a town that can be quite noisy sometimes. The layout is perfect, with appropriate areas for entertaining, sleeping and outdoor relaxing. The lot is large and beautifully landscaped, and the new (2024) pool and spa is delightful. There are separate outdoor areas for eating, reading and even another area for sitting around the fire pit. Plenty of dock space for a larger boat. But what really puts HC over the top is the service and attention to detail. From a stocked fridge, to fresh flowers, to a gorgeous Viking stove, HC is different. And better. Thank you Ruth! You set a new standard for hosts!

A rarity, this property was actually even nicer than described! The owner and property manager were a delight to work with. The golf course was a bit of a disappointment, but we still had a great time in Marathon.

We arrived late and the house was wonderfully stocked with essentials to get us started. That was a huge help! The house was roomy and comfortable, and Ruth was in constant contact to ensure we were happy.
